30 years of advising and installing artwork hanging in clients offices has given Doreen a special understanding of individual and corporate requirements
She studied Art History at university of Canterbury, and continued with her passion for art in the Canterbury, New Zealand and International art scene by supporting artists and sourcing art for the collection.
Doreen’s continues to maintain a strong interest in her clients and key artists as well as philanthropic work, providing artwork for non-profit organisations, giving something nice to those who help others so generously.

Susanna Hawkins BSc

Business Manager / Art Consultant

Originally studying 2 years of Craft Design at Polytechnic, Susanna went on to study software design, while at university built the Art Rentals CRM which generate all the invoices and client arwork history.
While travelling the world it was Susanna's grasp of business needs and creative solutions that made her in such demand as a Business analyst / technical designer for projects in Germany, Melbourne, Canada and the UK.
As a consultant she has seen the importance that image plays in business both internally and externally, while her roles as project manager have instilled a keen sense of fiscal responsibility.
Susanna is glad to be back in New Zealand to run the family business.

Caroline Lord BFA, BA (Hons)

Art Consultant

Aside from her academic achievements, Caroline has worked and trained as a picture framer (travelling to Australia to gain a qualification in Art conservation theory), worked as a art teacher and a private historical tour guide at the Vatican Museums in Rome.
We are lucky to have her on our team as she has upgraded her Master of Arts in Art history to a PhD on "A forgotten contribution: rediscovering the production and significance of the official and unofficial New Zealand war artists of the first world war (1914-18)". The artists she is researching include George Edmund Butler, Nugent Welch and Horace Moore-Jones. She has presented her research at two international conferences in Le Quesnoy, France (2008) and London (2009).

Caroline is our restoration and art storage expert. If something untoward happens to our artwork under your care, Caroline has the knowhow to create a solution.
